FAQ:

Q1:  Why should I name my messages?
A1: Once your messages have been recorded, you may need them again in the future, so naming your message will help you find it. Remember that it is important that you give it a name that is unique and that you will understand so you can find it again later. So "001" is probably less helpful than "Welcome_MainNumber_Weekday". Do not put in file extensions like .wav or .mp3 - the system will add them when the recordings are delivered.
 
Q2:How are the costs of my recording worked out?
A2:Prompt costs are based on the number of words you have requested at the rate for the voice that you have chosen. That is a minimum charge for up to 50 words in any one message and a further amount per word over 50 words in the same message. Please note that web-sites are counted as at least 4 words: "www." is one word, the site name is a second word, ".co" is the third word and ".uk" is the fourth word.
 
Q3:I want to choose a voice, but the name is in red and I can't select it nor find it in the Voice Manager.
A3:If the voice you have chosen shows up in red, that voice is temporarily unavailable. You may select another voice, or try again another day.
 
Q4:Where can I use these recordings?
A4:All recordings provided by VoiceStudio are on license only. If you wish to buy the copyright of these recordings, please contact Adviweb directly.
 
Q5:What does the status mean?
A5:Draft: saved for later use, not paid for yet. You can edit it or delete it.
Recording: the script has been sent to the voice artist and will be recorded soon. It can?t be edited or deleted at this stage.
In Queue: it has been recorded by voice artist, passed QA and it?s in a queue to be converted to your requested file format. It can?t be edited or deleted at this stage.
Complete: the recording is complete, you can download it from your home page if you wish. No further action will be taken by VoiceStudio. It can?t be edited or deleted at this stage.
 
Q6:For how long are my recordings stored on line?
A6:You audio will be stored on-line as long as you continue to use the VoiceStudio. If you do not access your account for 6 months, we will notify you via Email and by post (if you enter your postal address) to let you know and, if we have not heard from you for two weeks after that, your audio will be permanently deleted.
 
Q7:Can you help with script-writing?
A7:Of course! We have a team of wcript-writers to help you create the perfect script. This is an additional service and is available to our corporate customers as standard. If you would like to use this service, please Email us and we will give you all the information you need.
